OCTAVO¹ is a theme for Hugo² inspired by a blog post by Clive Thompson, Why 18th century books looked like smartphone screens³ – the title speaks for itself, esp. should you be reading this on a smartphone.

The title of this very post, though, reflects the development history of this theme. First created in December 2015 for the Kirby CMS, I decided recently to switch to a fully static system. For a couple of days, my blog ran OCTAVO through Jekyll, before deciding to go with Hugo after all, the result of which can be seen here.
